First Birthday Photographer

Henry is ONE and so much fun!

It’s so important to hire a first birthday photographer who specializes in babies! I see so many wedding photographers offering these as an add on and its just not the same. There are so many tips and tricks needed to capture these little guys on the move. And capture them well.

There was a time I was scared to shoot this age. I just wasn’t sure how to keep them in front of the camera. But after years of doing it, I finally got it.

You really need to engage them. Show them your camera. Sing a song. Make silly noises.

When all else fails? Sit them in a bowl! Voila! Cute one year photos!

I actually LOVE being a first birthday photographer now. Henry was so adorable and he REALLY got into his cake!
