This beautiful mama reached out to me for photos when her baby girl was about 8 weeks old. She had been turned away by numerous photographers who simply told her that her baby was too old. No explanation. Just no.

I want to take this time to say, “Thank you!” to all of those photographers. I explained to her that it’s not always possible to get perfectly posed images at 9-10 weeks, however we could still capture her baby girl in a beautiful way. And we did.

I then saw them for her 6 month session, 1 year session, and just a couple of years later, I was photographing their maternity session!

I was so excited when she told me they were having a baby boy. I know she feels sad about not being able to capture her baby girl in the first 2 weeks of life, so I wanted to make sure this session was perfect for her.

They arrived and I just could not get over how adorable their new baby boy was. Baby Chase is absolutely perfect in every way. I feel so blessed to have been able to capture their family over the years and now their family is complete.

Being a newborn photographer is always so rewarding, but it’s even a little extra special when it’s a family you know and love!
